"It's all about the place."
I’m a freelance writer based in Montreal, but still call Winnipeg my home. My writing is varied, but I’m apt to discuss the urban places and natural spaces in which we live, and their impact on our lives.
I’ve previously written for Canadian Geographic and Elephant Journal, but I also blog about cultivating connection to our environments. If you’d like to get in touch, I answer my emails promptly at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Outside of time spent exploring curiosities and travelling, I’ve lived in Germany twice – and managed to pick up ein bisschen Deutsche along the way. I also like to think of myself as a self-proclaimed adventurer and coffee mug connoisseur.
When I’m not writing or researching, keeping track of daydreams in too many notebooks, or getting lost in immersive novels, you can find me talking to my plants, drinking a nice stout, or making dog/human friends as I wander the city.
